Meccanica believes that our most important assets are our people. We maintain an active training and development program to ensure our capabilities reflect our customer’s requirements.
Our CNC equipment portfolio includes:
This is complemented by a range of conventional machine tools, including:
Meccanica values the efficiency and quality that CNC machining provides, combined with the flexibility of conventional machining for low-volume projects.
Customer specific processes are routinely developed to relevant Australian and Defence standards, including:
Meccanica routinely machines the following materials:
Marco Engineering was established in 1965 from a precision engineering pedigree. Attention to detail and the provision of value adding technical solutions remain our core operating principles.
Marco Engineering maintains a modern temperature controlled workshop with a combined 800sqm of office, toolroom and general fabrication facilities. Planning approval has already been received to expand these facilities to a total of 2,000sqm. These purpose built facilities will include a larger toolroom and quality control department, larger design studio and laboratory, and a clean assembly facility.
Continuous investment in equipment and capabilities enables Marco Engineering to guarantee high tolerances and maintain high production rates. Both of these influences are measured against customer requirements to ensure manufacturing meets or exceeds quality expectations whilst balancing cost expectations. Marco Engineering maintains a range of high-end CNC and conventional machine tools with additional investment in integrated machining systems planned.
Recently completed projects include:
In addition, Marco Engineering routinely develops processes for machining components in Invar, titanium and TZM alloys.
Marco Engineering is a current OEM supplier to Defence.
